HP Electronics was called in to consult on the A/V system design in 2016 for construction a new church. After working closely with the client to refine their needs we set about to make it a reality. Due to the difficult acoustics in the new space we chose steerable line array speakers. This helped to minimize reflections from the many hard surfaces around the room. By reducing the reflections of sound we were able to achieve great clarity and inteligibility of the spoken word. Every seat in the nave receives the same levels and clarity from the system.
An audio mixer that can be controlled from an iPad over WiFi was employed to allow the audio engineer to mix from anywhere in the space.
We also incorporated video projection into the architecture above the sanctuary and loft to display song lyrics and video presentations.
